The way in
Get the plan first.
One hour of questions, a week of research, then a plan delivered in person. You keep it whether or not you hire me.
Nobody decided
Most websites fail before anybody designs them. The business never decided what it was going to say, so the site says a little of everything and none of it lands. You can redesign that four times and it will feel the same on the fifth.
You probably don’t need a new website. You need to know what it’s supposed to say. Those are different problems and only one of them is expensive.
How it goes
01
The hour
You talk, I ask. Your market, your competitors, your customers, and the story you've never quite been able to explain at a party. I listen and I don't prescribe in the room.
02
The week
I go away and do the work. Your competitors, your customer language, where the gaps actually are. This is where the answers come from.
03
The delivery
In person, walked through, with somebody in the room to ask. Not a PDF that arrives in your inbox and gets opened once.
04
Your call
Build it with me, build it with somebody else, or build it yourself. It's your plan and it says the same thing either way.
What you walk out with
- Your positioning, written down
- The line your business leads with
- The soundbites underneath it
- A read on your closest competitors
- Your customer, described in their own words
- Exactly what to build, in what order
Questions people ask
- What happens in the hour?
- I ask questions and you talk. I don't diagnose anything in the room, because an answer given on the spot is reflex rather than thought. The prescribing happens afterward, once I've had a week with what you told me.
- What do I actually walk out with?
- Your positioning, the line your business leads with, the soundbites underneath it, a read on your closest competitors, your customer described in their own words, and exactly what to build in what order.
- Do I have to hire you afterward?
- No. You keep the plan either way and we're square. It's credited toward the build if you go forward, and if I decline the build you still keep it. Same door in, same door out.
- Can we skip it and just build the site?
- Sometimes, if the deciding has genuinely already been done and written down. Usually it hasn't, and building before that decision is how a business pays for the same website twice.
- How long does the whole thing take?
- One hour of questions, about a week of research, then the plan delivered in person. Not a PDF that lands in your inbox with no one to ask about it.
